Description
A unique scene that uses wildfire smoke and a low setting moon to create such an image. As wildfires in the area began to cover the area with smoke I arrived at Crater Lake a day before it was smoked in. I was lucky to get this image because for the next week or so the lake could not be seen. I had a very low moon setting on the horizon which cast a warm glow on the tree and distant shore of the lake through the wildfire smoke. Crater Lake National Park is gorgeous and has the bluest water I have ever seen.
